In the previous resource I suggested how we might read the Psalms differently. Here is another way you could try.
Read the same Psalm again, preferably, but not necessarily out loud, but this time change the emphasis as you do so. Not in any particular order but emphasise the words used to refer to God, or the personal pronouns or even the verbs. To use Psalm 23 as an example again, here are three ways of reading that same first line:
The Lord is my shepherd
The Lord is my shepherd
The Lord is my shepherd
Each time don’t rush, take your time, allow the reality to sink in.
